A dynamic and vital flamenco show, breaking the scene through the strings of the flamenco guitar for 80 minutes, taking a step forward to change the traditional flamenco scenography.
The melody leads you to a travel through the alegrías, the reality of the zambras and the time of the flamenco tangos, through the way of the bulerías and the soul of the artist’s costumes. In Detrás de la Verdad we can find a rarely tracked way; only those observing the soft chord of a guitar, the ripped touch of the heel on the flamenco stage or the movement of the flamenco dress to the beat of a torn voice, will be capable of feeling this magic.
By keeping the essence of the traditional flamenco sounds, this show is a progress for the music theory as well as for the flamenco, both musically and rhythmically. Moreover, it rescues forgotten styles, such as the Zambra or the Tanguillos, adding new rhythms and harmonies going through the skin borders.
The notes of the guitar change the scene composition progressively, breaking with the traditional concept of the static scenery composition (media luna), where the guitarist is placed in a semicircle with the rest of the musicians, and giving a personal touch to the show.
Detrás de la Verdad combines singing, dance and guitar, soul and tradition, breaking the rules with an exclusive aim: making the audience feel.
